​I first learned tarot from my paternal grandmother, a mystical Welsh woman who used to recite Buddhist mantras and show me how to dowse with crystal pendulums. 

 

In my twenties, I explored the alternative therapy world, training in many different things, from past life regression to yoga therapy to energy healing.

​

I saw the shadow side of the alternative world too though: ungrounded practices, unintegrated teachers, and spaces that were uncontained, even unsafe.

 

In my early thirties I sought traditional therapy, trying to make sense of it all.  What began as a curiosity about counselling somehow became a five-year Integrative Psychotherapy MA, a private practice in London, and a career as a trauma specialist. 

 

​I found myself anchored in the rational therapeutic world with all my spiritual pursuits a separate thing -  I didn't know how to integrate my two worlds.

​

I was in my early forties when I began to burn-out. I had been stuck in my head for years, trapped by what I 'should' be doing, unwilling to follow my deeper soul path. ​​​​​

​

I began a slow journey inwards, a return to where I began, surrendering to my deeper intuition. 

​

I immersed myself again in the practices that most resonated with me: sound healing and tarot.

 

Sound healing put me back in my body and quietened my mind. Tarot connected me to my spiritual lineage and creativity. 

​

I was a seeker again - but this time with all my therapeutic grounding.

​

While psychotherapy is no longer something I offer it still informs my practice. I offer a safe and reflective space for spiritual exploration. A bridge between psyche and soul.​​​

​
