I was first taught tarot by my grandmother. When I came to study psychotherapy many years later, I continued to integrate spirituality into my therapeutic work, training in yoga therapy, regression therapy, hypnotherapy, energy work, elements of shamanic practice, sound healing, and more tarot. I moved away from working as a psychotherapist to focus on my creative and spiritual path.

Always returning to the tarot, and on my own journey as a writer, I’ve increasingly found it helpful to draw on my intuition rather than my psychotherapeutic know-how: for me, spirituality and creativity are two sides of the same coin. Immersive practices like tarot, Reiki and sound healing have been transformative for my creativity and wellbeing, which is why I now offer them to others seeking the same thing.

As a writer I studied on the two-year creative writing programme at New Writing South in Brighton. I’ve had short stories published in Mslexia and New Writing Scotland and was shortlisted twice for the Bath Short Story Award (2020 and 2022). I completed a novel in 2023, which was longlisted for the Grindstone Literary International Novel Prize.
