Delighted to be running my Tarot for Creativity workshop over in Eastbourne for their inaugural literary festival!

If you are seeking a more intuitive approach to your writing then this workshop is for you.

We'll be using the cards as writing prompts and resources for creative flow.

We'll be reading tarot intuitively for ourselves and each other and discovering our unique writerly superpowers.

We'll even be having a divination story surgery to tackle any writing niggles (with some help from the universe) and a guided visualisation to meet our very own creative muse.

All in a welcoming space with other, like-minded writer souls!

There is no need to be a Tarot pro to join, we will be working with the cards intuitively so there are no wrong answers.

Expect to come away with your creativity flowing and the confidence to use tarot for your own writing process and craft.

We've all been there - we pull a Tarot card and just want it to tell us what to do.

Should I leave my job?

Will my relationship work?

'Should' and 'will' questions in Tarot are closed questions - as in, they only have a yes or no outcome

Open questions are different. Like:

What is the root of my issue at work?

What is the problem in my relationship and how can i address it?

See how different that feels? Suddenly the possibilities open up... and so do the cards.

That's not to say we're all going to suddenly stop shuffling our decks and asking the universe to give us that definitive answer.... and pulling a second, or third 'clarifier' card when we don't like the one we get 😬

BUT sometimes it's a good to take back a bit of power, exercise a bit of agency. Sometimes it's good to open up the question.

As one of my Tarot teachers once said:

'Why predict the future when you can create it?'
