Therapeutic tarot

Tarot may bring to mind a psychic reader or fortune-teller, interpreting your fate in the cards. But I offer the cards differently: as a way to nurture your own intuition.

In a session with me we explore the cards together, drawing on both the traditional meanings and your intuitive responses to the imagery. Rather than a one-sided reading, it's a co-creative process: you, me and the universal guidance moving through the cards. In my experience, this leads to the richest insights and truths.

Intuition speaks through imagery, symbolism and archetypes - which is also the language of tarot. A deck of 78 cards showing our human stories and struggles - and our wisdom and potential.

How it works:

Therapeutic tarot sessions take place online over Zoom where you have full view of the cards.

We start with a question - something you’re sitting with, needing clarity on or wanting support around.

I draw your cards and we explore the cards together, making meaningful connections. We notice what you are drawn to in the imagery, what stirs you, what feels true, what arrives. Maybe the cards confirm something you already know, or reveal a new insight just below conscious awareness.

But it is not just the guidance in the cards that matters, or the solutions they offer. It's the connection you’ve made with your own intuition, an alliance with the deepest, wisest part of you. A spiritual compass to shape your own future.

My grandmother first taught me tarot and over the years I've deepened my knowledge through various trainings, including the year-long Biddy Tarot accreditation course and the Tarosophy Tarot Association.

Therapeutic tarot is neither psychotherapy nor a traditional tarot reading. Instead it's a unique blend of all my psychotherapeutic expertise and my love and knowledge of tarot.
